About National Road Safety Month

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) observes National Road Safety Month every year in collaboration with:

  • State Governments and UT Administrations
  • Transport authorities and fleet operators
  • Industries, institutions, and NGOs

    During this period, nationwide awareness drives, training programs, and enforcement initiatives are conducted at both Central and State levels to address India’s road safety challenges.

      • मैं सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का पूर्ण पालन करूँगा/करूँगी।
      • वाहन चलाते समय सभी यातायात नियमों का पालन करूँगा/करूँगी।
      • वाहन चलाने से पहले यह सुनिश्चित करूँगा/करूँगी कि वाहन सुरक्षित स्थिति में है।
      • प्लांट परिसर के भीतर 30 किमी/घंटा से अधिक गति से वाहन नहीं चलाऊँगा/चलाऊँगी।
      • वाहन के साइड मिरर, ब्रेक और हॉर्न का आवश्यकता अनुसार सही उपयोग करूँगा/करूँगी।
      • पैदल यात्रियों, साइकिल चालकों, पशुओं एवं स्कूली बच्चों का विशेष ध्यान रखूँगा/रखूँगी।
      • शराब या नशीले पदार्थों के सेवन के बाद वाहन नहीं चलाऊँगा/चलाऊँगी।
      • सीट बेल्ट और हेलमेट का अनिवार्य रूप से उपयोग करूँगा/करूँगी।
      • ओवरस्पीडिंग और असुरक्षित ओवरटेकिंग से बचूँगा/बचूँगी।
