About National Road Safety Month

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) observes National Road Safety Month every year in collaboration with:

State Governments and UT Administrations
Transport authorities and fleet operators
Industries, institutions, and NGOs

During this period, nationwide awareness drives, training programs, and enforcement initiatives are conducted at both Central and State levels to address India’s road safety challenges.

आज के दिन मैं सत्यनिष्ठा पूर्वक यह प्रतिज्ञा करता/करती हूँ कि:

मैं सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का पूर्ण पालन करूँगा/करूँगी।
वाहन चलाते समय सभी यातायात नियमों का पालन करूँगा/करूँगी।
वाहन चलाने से पहले यह सुनिश्चित करूँगा/करूँगी कि वाहन सुरक्षित स्थिति में है।
प्लांट परिसर के भीतर 30 किमी/घंटा से अधिक गति से वाहन नहीं चलाऊँगा/चलाऊँगी।
वाहन के साइड मिरर, ब्रेक और हॉर्न का आवश्यकता अनुसार सही उपयोग करूँगा/करूँगी।
पैदल यात्रियों, साइकिल चालकों, पशुओं एवं स्कूली बच्चों का विशेष ध्यान रखूँगा/रखूँगी।
शराब या नशीले पदार्थों के सेवन के बाद वाहन नहीं चलाऊँगा/चलाऊँगी।
सीट बेल्ट और हेलमेट का अनिवार्य रूप से उपयोग करूँगा/करूँगी।
ओवरस्पीडिंग और असुरक्षित ओवरटेकिंग से बचूँगा/बचूँगी।

मैं जानता/जानती हूँ कि सड़क सुरक्षा में छोटी सी लापरवाही मेरे परिवार, समाज और राष्ट्र के लिए नुकसानदायक हो सकती है। इसलिए मैं स्वयं और दूसरों की सुरक्षा के लिए सदैव सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हूँ।
